DAMAC Properties, the largest private property developer in the Middle East, is entering the Egyptian market with a 320 million square-foot “master of all master developments” known as Gamsha Bay.
Upon completion, Gamsha Bay will be the largest township in the region. Its location along the Red Sea coast puts it 37 miles north of Hurghada International Airport and within driving distance of Cairo.
The $16.5 billion-dollar (USD) development will offer 55,000 housing options including villas, town homes and flats, all built upon 24 miles of Egypt’s coastline.
Also part of the master plan will be entertainment venues and recreational amenities including an extreme sports and adventure themed park.
Gamsha Bay will be divided into 9 distinct zones:

Gamsha Bay will be constructed in five phases over the next 10 years, with the initial components of the first phase scheduled for completion within five years.
